First, I want to thank everyone who participated in the tournament. I had a lot of fun and I think the tournament was a great success overall. We will build upon what was good and improve where we can. I'm looking forward to the Autumn Qualifier already...
But let's go step by step! Congratulations to Kai, who managed to snap his invite by winning the whole thing (with the help of some serioous "blasting" ;) ). Also, props to the finalist Alexander who very much earned his invite and had the guts to register double Armageddon (which I haven't seen for ages).
Without further ado, you can find the t8 lists here: http://mtgpulse.com/event/25572
I will upload final standings soon and will also provide links to the recorded video coverage. Bear with me, It might take little. But It will all be available here in the end.

Hi everybody!
Yesterday we were doing a recap on the recent Summer Qualifier tournament. While discussing what went well and where we could optimize our tournament, a point was raised where basically everybody agreed we could improve our system.
The issue was that players ending up in 5th through 8th place didn't receive any prizes.
These competitors felt a little disappointed, which we can fully understand. They would go through six grueling rounds of swiss and make top 8, only to lose in the quarters and not get anything for their hard work.
With only t4 getting prizes, our payout structure was designed in a way which players are not usually used to. The decision to implement such a payout structure was due to the fact that we are using the seasonal Qualifier tournaments to foster prizes for the big Invitational Final. Additionally, we wanted to underline the competitive nature of our tournament concept.
I'm glad we received much useful feedback from many players and found a good solution for the issue at hand.
As a consequence, we will retrospectively reward players 5th through 8th with free entry for the upcoming "The One" Autumn Qualifier.
From here on we will be keeping this change and will award places 5th through 8th with free invites for the next Qualfier tournament. Those free entries might be replaced with card value for the Winter Qualifier.
That's it for now. A little road map of what lies ahead:
- As the remaining match streams become available we will post them and I will provide a sorted link archive
- I'm planning to write a small report of my run through the tournament
- A date for the Autumn tournament will be announced. Expect the tournament to happen sometime around November
We updated the statistical analysis for "The One". -> http://www.magicplayer.org/forum/index.php?topic=1216.msg12943#new
