The deck's goal is to stay alive until late game and then win. It's aimed at 1 on 1 and multiplayer diplomacy magic! Both are played alot in my playgroup.

I am looking for suggestions for improving the deck. I'd love to hear new ideas/cards and reasons for using them!

At a first glance, this looks ok, i'd probably tweak a lot on the mana base. here goes my quick review:

1cc.
+ brainstorm?
- blood ( i think you have a lot of removal, no need for this one)

2cc
- vengeaful dreams
+ impulse
+ mana drain (too â,¬â,¬??)
+ disenchant?

3cc
+ dissipate (instead of cancel)
+ intuition
+ aura of silence?
+ jace beleren

4cc
- return to dust (better options...)
- nevinyrrals disk
+ moat
+ gifts ungiven
+ cryptic command

5cc
- magus of the future
+bribery

6cc
-final judgment
- draining whelk
- quicksilver dragon

7cc
- iridescent angel

lands:

3 duals + 3 shocklands
fetchs
some manlands: faery conclave, mishras factory
cycle lands
- tricolor shards lands
- painlands

you have lots of nonbasic lands for a 3color deck, i would try and cut some for some basics.

Also i see you have a sort of "theme" deck, stealinf stuff, so you might wanna take a look at this deck:

its only UB, but i think you can get some ideas.

First of all, thank you :).

1cc
Innocent Blood - It's just handy for those pesky indestructibles ^^... But I do already have swords and path.
Brainstorm - It seems like a good choice :)

2cc
Vengeful Dreams - It can easily go.
Impulse - A bit more card draw wouldn't hurt.
Mana drain - It's so darn expensive, but I would play it if I could get one.
Disenchant - It's a handy removal and it could be useful but I usually play Return to Dust because I'm used to people playing recurring things, meaning that the two for one and the remove from game is an excellent feature.

3cc
Dissipate - It's obviously superior to cancel, just as I'm waiting for a Chainer's Edict to switch for the sorcery edict.
Aura of Silence - Why would I play Aura of Silence?
Jace Beleren - I used to play him, but he got cut since I had a hard time deciding what else to keep, I'll look at getting him back in the deck.
Intuition - I don't like only getting one of three, is it really worth it?

4cc
Return to Dust - What better options? :)
Nevinyrrals Disk - It's a decent Wrath effect but delayed a turn. It can easily go.
Moat - Pricy! Would play it if I had one.
Gifts Ungiven - This one is a bit better than Intuition and I could easily make space for it I think.
Cryptic Command - I actually have a hard time getting UUU now and then, I doubt that my mana fix is good enough.

5cc
Magus of the Future - It's cut
Bribery - Already knew this one, going to trade for one when I get a chance :D

6cc
Final Judgment - Again, it's effective against recurring decks, think I'll keep this one if I got spare slots.
Draining Whelk - This one was already on it's way out :)
Quicksilver Dragon - Is it smart only playing one morph creature?

7cc
Iridescent Angel - Protection from all colors... It's hard to handle, that's why I play it, albeit it's a bit slow. I'll keep it if I got spare slots though.

Lands:
I'm already working on getting as many shock/duals as possible.
I'm also playing all the shard lands in the colors that I can benefit from and I'm expecting to recive the tap lands with the dual colors I can use in the mail. Same goes for manlands and painlands.

Thanks for helping! :)

If you got more suggestions, please don't hesitate

Your curve is rather high. Try adding some talismans and stones, and cut all those awful non-basics for basics.

No prob.

QuoteDisenchant - It's a handy removal and it could be useful but I usually play Return to Dust because I'm used to people playing recurring things, meaning that the two for one and the remove from game is an excellent feature.

I forgot to talk about this on my previous post. You need grave hate. phyrexian furnace, tormod crypt, scrabbling claws, shred memory, etc, etc.

QuoteAura of Silence - Why would I play Aura of Silence?
Intuition - I don't like only getting one of three, is it really worth it?

Let me tell you that intuition and gifts are two of the best cards available in blue. Ppl sometimes splash for U, just because of these two.. ohh, and yes Fact or Fiction (it was really a speedy review.. forgot about this one..lol)

As for aura of silence, it was an option VS return to dust.

QuoteCryptic Command - I actually have a hard time getting UUU now and then, I doubt that my mana fix is good enough.

Well, i mentioned this one, because i thought you could go away with it on 3 color deck, you really need to fix that mana base ;)

Again you need grave hate, final judgment is pretty bad...i think your better off with some grave hate.

Well, lots of ppl play a single morph card in the decks and that is exalted angel. i don't think that dragon is worth the "what morph surprise" effect.

Iridescent Angel - Protection from all colors... It's hard to handle, that's why I play it, albeit it's a bit slow. I'll keep it if I got spare slots though.

It's a 7CMC for a 4/4... i´m betting your playing in a very slow meta, with few aggro, no?

QuoteLands:

This really needs tweaking, you only play 3 colors, but you're completely vulnerable to back to basics... you don't need the tricolor shards, nor the taplands, nor the painds, cut the vivid, add some filters if you like. Fetchs, shocks, duals, filters is more than enough, add basic lands.

Solemn simulacrum is also good in that deck.

Kristian

We play free for all multiplayer more than we play 1 on 1 in my playgroup :)

I have tinkered a bit with the deck and jumped into 5 color. It's a blast to play!

However, I'm not completely sure of the land:spell ratio. I often find myself drawing alot of lands. Am I missing something obvious? (Too many lands, wrong types etc.)

well, your land/ratio seems ok. It's your lands and CMC spells that worry me... But since you said you play multiplayer more than 1 VS 1, i think it might be "ok", to have such a high mana curve...

You should cut those CIP lands (shards lands, invasion lands, etc). Try cycle lands + LFTL best draw engine available.

Also, if you like fatties that much, have you consider turning this into an oath deck?

Check the deck clinic thread, there are 5c oaths, and 5c control there, you might get some ideas.
