Helle (RG Beats) - Seveneyes (Reanimator)

Game 1:
I got a T1 Noble Hierarch and T2 Boggard Ram Gang that is send back to the library with Bant Charm. I waste one of his lands and play witness to get the Wasteland back. He plays Brainstorm and Kitchen Finks. As he is tapped out, I really like to see the Winter Orb from the top and screwing him even more with the Wasteland so that he didn't have any buissnes at all. River Boa seals the game.

Game 2:
He plays a T2 Careful Study discarding Akroma. I got Frenzied Goblin and Radha, which prevent his Call of the Herd token from blocking. He plays Makeshift Mannequin to get Akroma to play which wins him the game, as I didn't find any awnsers with a Magma Jet.

Game 3:
I play T2 Mongrel while he summons a Nezumi Graverobber which trades with the Viridian Zealot I play the next turn. I play Witness + Grim Lavamancer while he gets Survival online. On his next turn he plays Dance of the Dead to get back a Blazing Archon but I got Sarkhan Vol witch ends the game.

So I win 2:1

It wasn't yet, but I just had my first match with Felidar in play. Primarily he makes it very, very hard to win for aggro decks because of the combination lifelink + vigilance.

I'm playing it since the release now, but haven't ever won with it besides the combat step, even though I play some decent amout of lifegain.

I don't think the combo got enough power to do on it's own. There is too many disruption around there.

I think it will be much better in any kind of UBx Gifts deck as an additional win condition. It probably could be good in Doran-Rock, too.

As Vazdru said before, you're playing too many mana sources.

some cards that I definitly wouldn't play:
Siege-Gang Commander - doesn't fit into a control deck
Knight-Captain of Eos - slow, easy to kill, doesn't have many impact on the game often
Sower of Temptation - most of the time it dies eot without having done anything
Mystical Teachings - too slow
Dispeller's Capsule - too slow
Hallowed Burial - doesn't combo well with Lark
Forbid (representing all cc3 counterspells) - too expansive
Instead of playing the cc5 Wraths I'd propably play more burn. Lightning Bolt, Fire/Ice and the like. If you want to have some massremoval, give Volcanic Fallout, Firespout, Earthquake a try. There's just more synergy with Swans.


@Vazdru: Your experiences sound interesting. I got some questions though:

- It seems you're playing the deck more focused on combo, aren't you? Do you play any additional tutors?
- Whitch creatures do you play that can be brought back by Lark? Why doesn't Flametonge Kavu make the cut?
- Why do you both play Conflagrate? Sure, when comboing, it's a finisher. But otherwise it sucks. Seismic Assault is useful even without the combo and allows some nice card-advantage with Swans only. Is it the RRR, that prevents you from playing it?

I'll try the deck some time soon and post my results then.

Do you think that there are any cards missing? Which cards should better be replaced?

Should I play more 1 drops? What about Equipments?

Spectral Procession was the most recent addition, so I don't have an oppinion about it so far. Is it worth while without cards like Crusade / Glorious Anthem?
