In my opinion, the benefit for players isnt big enough to justify complicating things. All the cards are "restricted" as 1-ofs in the first place anyway.

As a sidenote, I feel like the less additional bannings, the better. People want to play with the cards they love. Ideally, the frequency with which the bannedlist changes, should drop exponentionally. As I understand it, continuous changes with a format as well developed as this, is a sign that people don't know what they are doing.

Now as I look at the actual watchlist right now, cards like Back to Basics and Blood Moon should never be considered for a ban (unless we want to eradicate 1, 2, or even 3 color decks).

For me personally, none of the cards on the current watchlist make much sense to ban. Entomb is a very special card, but I'm not aware of it dominating anything. Oath of Druids also doesnt dominate anything and is seriously held in check by B2B et cetera. As is Academy. Tutoring and carddraw is part of the game. TNN doesnt "do" anything in a bunch of matchups (easy Jitte, Skullclamp unban). Please only ban based on mid-longterm tournamentresults.

Another idea I guess this is a good spot to throw out there: I'd like to see a slightly extended watchlist and each card with a rating on how likely it will get banned or unbanned, respectively. Perhaps votecounts.

Hi all!

Now that im setting up for the new server cockatrice.us, I thought I should share my custom graphics and sounds (MWS sounds).

It improves the experience a lot and I strongly recommend it : )

DOWNLOAD

Instructions: Copy the folder "Graphicstheme" to "themes" folder located in your main Cockatrice folder.
Do the same with "Soundstheme" to "sounds".
If you do not have the targetfolders, create them.
Then open Cockatrice and open Settings and select the tab "Appearence".
Select "Graphicstheme" from the Dropdownmenu.
Switch to tab "Sounds" and select "Soundstheme".

FB isnt public. Im aware its very useful, but the forum and mentioned websites need decklists too.

Bigger tournaments apparently dont happen often enough.

TOs at local tournaments need to incentivise players to make their decklists available - at least the winner - and send them to me, for example. I will be more than happy to post them. I take screenshots and photos too.

There is a lot of value lost when the data isnt shared.

There is a lot of damage done, when players lose interest in a format that looks inactive.

I hope there is somebody connected to the respective TOs. Please let us know what it takes to set this up.

Very briefly, I think every time a card gets banned, its bad for the format. Its certainly bad for me.
Please ban as few cards as possible and keep the power level high.

NONE of these cards dominate the format as far as I know and they are restricted in the first place.

Back to Basics, Blood Moon
Most manabases have only very few basic lands, even with this in the format. Ban would be rediculous.

Mana Drain, Treasure Cruise, Dig Through Time    
We just lost Mystical and some time ago Gifts, but banning cards wont change the fact that blue is the best color. These cards are iconic and I love to play with them. And i would cry my heart out, if they get banned.

Imperial Seal, Demonic Tutor, Tainted Pact   
They help, but combo is still way less consistent, than in other formats. Other than that, they are pretty fair.

Entomb, Oath of Druids, Tolarian Academy, Yawgmoth's Will 
Reanimator, Oath, Acadamy, TPS are all fringe decks. Only ban, if they dominate.

Gifts Ungiven and Mystical Tutor
They are crazy good, but I still would like to see them in our decks.

Also Birthing Pod, Natural Order, Top, Jitte and maybe Strip Mine, Survival and Scullclamp. Maybe xD
