Cream of the Crop
Farhaven Elf
Grazing Gladehart
Masked Admirers
Mold Shambler

You don't seem to have a clear plan how to get your most expensive creatures into play aside from Defense of the Heart and Tooth and Nail. You are missing Natural Order. Also cut Desert Twister for e.g. Creeping Mold.

And don't worry about lifegain or flying creatures: just pack your build with bigger quality beaters. Here's a build from me and Tiggupiru for your reference, hope it helps: http://iki.fi/~pyyhttu/magic/highlander/MonoG.mwDeck

Cards to consider that are not in that build would be Vengevine and in your case maybe Mul Daya Channelers.

First of all, I would play no non-forest lands except green fetchlands, Wasteland or two and Cradle depending number of mana elves you choose to run. You chose to include none, which prevents you playing spoiler card called Natural Order. Just Forests maximizes your usage of Rofellos, Vernal Bloom (where it is?) and Gauntlet.

Where are all namesake cards aka mana ramps? You're missing Rampant Growth, Into the North, Search fo Tomorrow, Explore, Nature's Lore, Three Visits, Lotus Cobra. Edge of Autumn and Khalni Heart Expedition might not make it, but Skyshroud Claim could be nice. Some other obvious misses include Sylvan Library, Plow Under and Chameleon Colossus. Arashi should help against those pesky fliers.

Cards you should cut:

Nearly all non-forest lands

Crop Rotation
Life from the Loam
Crucible of Worlds
Scapeshift           - no fancy lands that really work with these

Journeyer's Kite - worse than alternatives
Rancor - not needed
Defense of the Heart - too unreliable
Mycoloth - what are you going to devour?
Desert Twister - too expensive
Deadwood Treefolk - cute, but there are better cards

I have a draft on a similar deck and am interested in how it will develope.

well i absolutely forgot about vernal bloom and natural order and all those non forest lands are some sort of slowing down opponents until i got enough manna to play something really good well dessert twister might be expensive but its sort of nostalgia :)

its really nice build but i wanted to play more control like deck with creatures with card advantage i hate manna elves big creatures without abilities and such. equipments such as swords aren't really needed only reason i run graves is shroud and rancor is bouncing back if creature dies.
but i really like vernal bloom and natural order so i exchange them for beacon of creation and kamahl...

Helle

There are some walls that give both protection against smaller creatures and mana acceleration and should therefore be considered:

Wall of Roots
Overgrown Battlement
Vine Trellis

Nastaboi

How can someone explain not playing the best equipment in the format and then playing Rancor because it's reusable in the very same sentence? Mana elves are needed to reliable cast Natural Order. If you don't play mana elves, then Sword obviously becomes less attractive, but with some elves it is just too good not to run.

Wall of Roots is nice and gets better if you have something to do with an opponent's turn which none of the lists really have. The other two are just bad. You don't really need early blockers because you'll be casting monsters from turn 3.

Regrowths are actually bad in the deck sans Witness. Lands + other mana should not account much more than 50 % of the deck, guess I have to cut some. Also, opinions on which X-spells one should run apart from obvious Chord of Calling?

No love for Dust Bowl? Seems better than Tectonic Edge.

Summoning Trap might be good here, although you'll probably need a couple more big finishers to play it consistently, but man, is it nice to trap an opposing blue player on the first couple of turns.

I am also a big fan on Pelakka Wurm in these kinds of decks, 7 life is a lot and is more than enough to take you out of the burn range while stopping ground beats and providing some serious clock. Against control/planeswalkers the trample is great and cantripping is a nice bonus, although very unreliable especially against white.

Yes, run none. The green X-spells are horrible, unless you desperately want a finisher that is not a creature, and can afford to take damage in the process.

Enshrined Memories comes to my mind as some sort of 2nd Harmonize. But probably it isn't good enough.

majko53

well i should put it like that in our field creatures without abilities are really bad. I am looking for deck able to compete in duels but also be good in 2hg and ffa ... well elves sure they are fodder for natural order but i play many chump blockers like walls or wood elves for them and that is the reason why i am testing mycoloth
