Magic Universe is hiring Writers

Dear Highlanderers,

I want to apologize in advance for missing the correct section to post this, but it seems, that a suitable section for my request does not exist. :/

Also, I am a bit puzzled about the status of this forum, as the dates of its freshest posts suggest that it might already have died. In that case I'd be wasting my precious words pleading to the silence. :/

Anyway, I am posting this on the behalf of the new editor-in-chief of the German MtG content site Magic Universe, Andreas Pischner. That man and his site are looking for at least one good writer covering the highlander topic. His own words:

Nachfolger für Jonny gesucht!

Es war einmal...

...ein begeisterter Highlander-Spieler (nennen wir ihn Jonny), der veröffentlichte regelmäßig Videos über sein liebstes Magic-Format auf einer deutschen Magic-Seite (nennen wir sie Magic Universe).

Die Highlander-Gemeinde liebte seine Videos. Die Redaktion von Magic Universe liebte es, dass ihre Leser Jonnys Videos liebten. Alle waren glücklich und zufrieden.

Eines Tages aber hatte Jonny keine Zeit mehr, diese Videos zu produzieren. Traurig teilte er dies der Redaktion und der Leserschaft von Magic Universe mit, und traurig nahmen diese es zur Kenntnis. Natürlich gab es zahlreiche Versuche, Jonny noch einmal umzustimmen, aber umsonst: Magic Universe musste fortan ohne seine Videos auskommen, und die Welt wurde ein wenig grauer und trauriger.

Nun liegt es an Euch, liebe Highlander-Gemeinde, mitzuhelfen, dass unsere Welt wieder ein wenig farbiger und freudiger wird! Einer oder mehrere von Euch sind gewiss dazu in der Lage, gelegentlich ähnlichen Content zu produzieren, wie es Jonny einst getan hat (es muss natürlich nicht genau das selbe sein - auch Text statt Video wäre völlig in Ordnung). Ein oder zwei entsprechende Artikel im Monat, von einem oder wechselnden Autoren: Das würde die Magic Universe Redaktion glücklich machen (und damit auch mich, denn ich bin ab Juni für das Artikelprogramm dort hauptverantwortlich); das würde unsere Leser glücklich machen - und es würde natürlich auch diese(n) Autoren glücklich machen, denn zusätzlich zu dem schönen Gefühl, eine gute Sache weiterzuführen, erhielten diese natürlich auch ein Entgelt für ihre Mühe!

(A short summary for the Englishfolk: In the past, the works of the highly respected Jonny/Tabrys were very popular regular content on Magic Universe. Sadly, Jonny resigned recently, and MU has not been able to find someone to fill his shoes (or even try). So MU is still left alone looking for someone who is willing to contribute one to two articles or videos of Highlander content per month on a regular basis.  There is an audience who is really interested in that stuff; and wouldn't it be very sad, if they dissolve just because there is no fresh content anymore? I guess, if there would be two or more people who don't like to do that job all on their own, alternating authors shouldn't pose a problem, either. Someone please take a heart! :/ (There's also a (small) financial compensation waiting for you.))


edit: Andreas let me know that he is looking for German language contributions, only. A big sorry to all others who were or would be interested in that offer, but for the moment Magic Universe doesn't want to make a step towards internationalism. :/
