Even Reanimator Lists play Dig through Time and Treasure Cruise, pretty obvious what's overpowering.

Dig is the best tutor for combo decks in the format, get your combo piece/second Tutor + solution/backup Counter EOT.

Unban skullclamp,Umezawas Jitte and Library of Alexandria.

The first time I played hl with my friends was around 2001. We played it without a banlist and even added unhinged cards to our decks.

All mentioned cards have been the subject of discussion for years. I can't think of any new arguments on why they should be banned/unbanned so my earlier statement should be enough.

Agree with Payron.

I'm happy to act as a coordinator as well.

My feeling is that most of the communities are pretty happy with their current representatives in the council.

I agree with you. Now why is this a reason not to vote?

I was talking about democratic legitimation my friend, nothing else.
It´s not like they have a choice in the long run anyway....
#8
That sounds exactly like the old model except with more seats. Really at least try to be creative...

Having more Representatives from different communities in the council is just 50% of what is needed.
All of these seats have to be democratically elected by their communities, this includes the existing members aswell.

Natural Order:
Craddlehoof is one of the more popular and 100% legit archetypes in canadian Highlander. By banning Natural order you basically deny playing a whole archetype in european Highlander. I don`t see how this goes  along with your policy of creating a "diverse Meta"

Top:
Top definitly slows down games. Will banning it result in less draws because insecure inexperienced player X doesn`t draw top in every 10th game?
The anser is of course no, however I´m interested how you are going to meassure the impact of this ban on the Format...

Off-Topic / Re: Democratic council, so hard?

The system is not that flawed, the problem are the people in the hl council who just do a bad job (cards like academy and fastbond legal,  wtf).
So yeah if it would be possible to remove them by using a more democratic system we should give it a try.

Look,

It's pretty simple, the hl councils job is to maintain the ban list and not to reinvent magic archetypes or discuss about the necessity of Karma in this dead forum.
Anyway you are right, I didn't bother reading this at all. The amount of decklists on pulse is manageable for the average mind but if somebody feels the urge to put them in a different order, okay. I just said that the councils main objective is still the banlist and sadly I haven't read anything about this lately. The addition of a non hl player to the council seems to be harmful to its functionality.

Deck naming works in every other format and It worked in HL aswell.
Why do you try to create pseudo problems? Noone believes this is necessary anyway, please proceed to work on the banlist as this is your main purpose. Deck naming won't do a thing to contribute to this.

Thanks

The "one discard and it's over for tps" line is a little too simple. Discard is not the weapon of choice against tps decks unless you hit yawgmoths will with it, every card he discards isn't lost. It just sits in the grave ready to boost up that storm counter. Hitting a tutor might slow the deck down, but you are nowhere near a save state. Same goes for countermagic (unless it's flusterstorm/Mindbreak trap). A deck like jeskai/izzet needs to have an early thread + more than 2 counterspells to have a "chance" of winning.
The only viable hate is graveyard removal and cards like thalia, gaddog and clique in draw step to give you a safely playable threat ( the chosen card won't be put into his grave either which is particularly useful).

Also the line of the tps deck in the final is the all in one because the academy player had no hate in his deck at all.

Tps has protection and disruption to make sure it can combo against tempo/control decks.
