The Sideboard cards are the cards which are maybe playable.

I didn't find an updated Elf decklist.
And I am not really sure if I should splash a 2nd color (white or black)
Any suggestions?

Almost a year ago I posted a possible decklist for a Gb Elves build, and there is some excellent feedback to be found in that thread, so by all means take a look (and pay attention mostly to the feedback). As you will probably see, my own deckbuilding skills aren't as high as I'd like and I've come to trust the advice given in these forums.

Now having said that, here are a couple of provisos, warnings, cautions, and heads-ups...

1. I generally keep about 7 Highlander decks around at any one time, and for a while I had the best version that I could come up with on that Elves build... yet despite all tweaks, changes, etc. it nevertheless seemed to be the least consistent of all the decks... and I finally broke it apart in favor of another one.

2. In one online tournament match here (online and hosted by this site), I tried that deck 'cuz my "original" deck for that tournament (at least as I was playing it) had been floundering. As soon as my opponent, one of the "regulars" here who knows the Highlander format quite well, saw that I was playing Elves, commented something like "hm; elves are hard to do." (I lost that match in straight games.)

Now having said THOSE, I seem to recall that Elves have nevertheless done well in other HL tournaments... the other guys here will know more about that than I do

i think the biggest problem with elves is that they arent aggro enough to win quickly like a MGA deck thus becoming more fragile to cards like damnation, wog, pyroclam, etc, etc.

Nevertheless they can make nice combos between them.

Like grizzledmage said, chek out that thread, most of the stuff have already been said there.
